Lets be the one that answer the entire question why your answer no supposedly to be a big yes. And now I will explain why the answer should be yes.

1. What is Water Birth?
2. History of water birth.
3. Benefits:
·         For Mommy
·         For Baby

4. Criteria use water for birth
5. Past Research

Now, I will try to explain you why you should say yes to use water for birth. First of all, what is water birth?

1. What is Water Birth?
-          Water birth is the process of giving birth in a tub of warm water.
-          Has been proven to provide pain relief for the mother and a less traumatic birth experience for the baby.
-          Has been used in the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe Japan and including Malaysia (since 2009).

2. History of water birth
-          Pacific Islanders have practiced water birth since before their meeting with European explorers; and it is believed that the Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt were birthed in the waters of the Nile.
-          1st water birthing in 1803 in France, and was developed as a medical technique in the 1960s by Russian and French researchers.

Besides that, the benefits of a water birth for a mother and a baby go beyond the simple relaxing qualities of water birth.

3.0Benefits of water birth
3.1 Benefits of water birth for a mother.
-          Warm water is soothing, comforting, relaxing.
-          The water used :
·         To increase the mother energy.
·         to reduce stress-related hormones
·         relaxes the pelvic floor muscles
·         allowing the mother’s body to produce endorphins which serve as pain-inhibitors
·         The perineum to become more elastic and relaxed, reducing the incidence and severity of tearing and the need for an episiotomy and stitches.
-          Since water provides a greater sense of privacy, it can reduce inhibitions, anxiety, and fears.
-          Buoyancy promotes more efficient uterine contractions and improved blood circulation resulting in better oxygenation of the uterine muscles.
-          Less pain for the mother, and more oxygen for the baby.
-          The effect of buoyancy lessens a mothers body weight, allowing free movement and new positioning.
-          Immersion in water often helps lower high blood pressure caused by anxiety.
-          In addition, as the laboring woman relaxes physically, she is able to relax mentally with greater ability to focus on the birth process.
-          Study in Canada - 100% women who birthed in water use no pain medication.
-          Fewer birth canal injuries, vagina, perineum and vulva
-          Can speed up normal labors, sometimes resulting in less than a two to four-hour.

2. Benefits water birth for a baby.
-          Provides an environment similar to the amniotic. (Avoid shock – air )
-          Easier more gentle transition from one womb of water to an external womb of water, weightless, warm, wet and soft
-          Decreased trauma at birth
-          More blood to baby due to better blood circulation in mother
-          Baby doesn't receive the invasive stimuli to induce breathing, which results in less crying, babies after birth resulting in a calmer, more alert state
-          More safe than unsafe alternative in childbirth
-          Bacteria is dissipated in the water reducing infection to baby
-          Cord cutting after birth is delayed until it stops pulsating
-          Less problems with breastfeeding after birth
-          Less trauma to mother means less trauma to baby

So what do you think about water birth? Before answer my question, I would like to tell you the criteria to use water for birth and show you some evidence to prove that why you should say yes to water birth.

4. Criteria use water for birth

-          Be having only one baby who is presenting head first.( not inverse)

5. Past Research
*a few snapshot and picture

Childbirth is always challenging. It is no small thing to bring a new soul into the world, no small thing to suffer so that another may have life. But birth is not meant to be unbearable. We are not meant to suffer so completely that the experience leaves us feeling less of a woman, instead of more. Should we choose water birth as delivery method? Why do not have a water birth? So according to this evidence; proven that water birth has lots of benefits and basically no negatives.
Based on my points earlier, I would like to persuade you to use water birth as the method of birth.

Question and Answer Session.

1.       Are there any concern about water birth method is being used?
2.       What are the situations are not ideal using this method?

Practice Session

1.       I have been practicing alone in my room, in the night, by myself.
2.       I would need more improvement to persuade people because i still find it hard in finding the right tone, and i seem to be quite nervous when i forget what to talk about, or everytime i realized i was reaching the time limit, which ends up ruining the whole presentation.

Time Limit.

I still can’t quite stay within the time limit, due to the nervousness and a lot of stuttering. Moreover, i need to consider which type of visual that i am going to be using during the presentation.
